Hello and thank you for taking a few minutes to know a little bit about me! I was born in Ohio and moved with my family to Florida where I met my high school sweetheart. I followed him to Virginia when he joined the Navy. As we started a family and after my husband served our country, we moved to Maryland for a few years before planting roots here in the Lowcountry. I've had an array of jobs over the years including catering, feeding horses, and medical assistant, but I have always been intrigued on how amazing the body works. My time as a medical assistant in an integrative practice opened my eyes that people want more natural options to help support their bodies. My passion for learning about the body and how it functions led me to become a massage therapist.

Massage has so many benefits both physically and mentally and I have a passion to help others when they have exhausted most avenues to help themselves feel better. I decided to become a licensed massage therapist (LMT) so I could help in a way that is gentle and pain free. I currently provide Swedish Massage, which is your classic relaxation massage that helps release tension throughout the body. 

During my time as a medical assistant in a holistic/integrative medical practice, I saw a need in the community to help those who wanted and needed help with ailments without the excessive use of medications. Familiar with my own autoimmune issues, I try to take the natural way to heal and take care of my body. Using both medications and all the natural ways to help support my body, I have kept my autoimmune issues suppressed. I now have a handful of people that I call my "Wellness Team". They are the ones that help me keep my body running the best that it can. They include my Chiropractor, Massage Therapist, Mind Health Practitioner and my primary care physician. Of course, everyone will have a different type of "Wellness Team" and I would love to be a part of yours!
